One year. Twelve months. A whole lot of stories.
Over the past year, we’ve shared wild school moments and strange staff decisions. We’ve talked about haunted hallways and acronym overload. We’ve welcomed unforgettable guests. And yes… there have been plenty of singing moments.
Every story on this podcast comes from real life. These are moments I lived or witnessed during my career in education. Some made me laugh. Some made me shake my head. All of them made me say, “Only in a school.”
This podcast began during retirement. That didn’t last long. I returned to lead 9th graders and supervise lunch duty. At the same time, I launched a podcast and helped form the ForwardEd Network. I did not see that plot twist coming.
But that’s how education works. It keeps you humble. It keeps you guessing. And it definitely keeps you entertained.
In this anniversary episode, I revisit some of my favorite moments from year one. These are the stories that made listeners laugh first… then stare… then ask, “Wait… that really happened?”
